About me
I was born in Seoul, raised in Seoul/London π°π·π¬π§, and currently, I live in New York π½. From a young age, I became an attentive person as I had to adapt to various cultures and environments quickly. Hence, I have a lot of interest π in my surroundings. This shows up best in the portfolio, where little things β¨ around me inspired the majority of my projects.
Why did I get into Product Design?
Switch Studio (the bg video) was a team project during undergrad, where I first found my passion for UX and user research.
Where we lived in, Kingston, had neglected and run-down road/apt signs across town. After noticing that people struggled to find these houses, we created a portable design studio to conduct interviews π and share our ideas with them. Upon understanding our neighbours' pain points, we redesigned two neglected signs around our area for better wayfinding and created a more positive atmosphere π.
We loved testing ideas with them and using those findings to drive product decisions.
